uncharted games are fun as fuck and really good. their pretty short too, id bet you could beat all three uncharted games in 2 weeks, even faster if u did marathon sesh on weekends. combo/360 are taking the game way too seriously. its indiana jones with guns, whats not to like?

im not gona disagree with the "eye rolling parade of cliches" because there is overwhelming evidence to support this claim but all that did was bring more lols for me.

I liked uncharted alot, and I LOVED Last of Us. And I find it hard to believe that someone could like one but not the other.

Didn't play it. Didn't want to waste my time after not liking Crash Bandicoot, the Jak & Daxter games, and Uncharted. The unhysterical reviews I read suggested that The Last of Us was more of the same shit from Naughty Dog that I don't care for.

of course theres going to be moments of downtime. every survival horror story/game/movie formula dictates downtime. and it is done very well and you really want to pay attention and think about what you are doing.

I rented it from Redbox for 3 nights and beat it on easy just to experience the story. Sounds like I may need to revisit this at some point and play it on a higher difficulty.

@ric: If you liked last of us, then you will like uncharted. the games are very similar, just different worlds and different tones. last of us is dark and scary and super serious, uncharted is indiana jones with guns, some jokes, and a love triangle. gameplay is very similar, you are essentially playing out a movie.

i bought the game for 40$ beat it in 3 days then sold it for 55$ (this was back when it first came out). u can always grab it again much cheaper n buy the dlc or wait for a GOTY complete edition that includes all the dlc.
