This drops on Friday. and its a fresh port of the Popular PC game Dungeon Fighter Online. Its like a hybrid between Streets Of Rage 2 and Phantasy Star Online.
I'm looking forward to this game greatly. And its only $10.

This looks interesting. It's a "first-person slasher," a game designed with a focus on developing intricate, skill-based melee combat from a first-person perspective. Releasing this fall on Steam.

Re: The Official Downloadable Games Thread
To report back on a few of the games mentioned recently in this thread, Nihilumbra is fucking amazing. Seriously, one of the best games for iOS and maybe this year. I wrote a review for a site I'm writing for, I may post it tomorrow when it comes out if anyone cares. I'm playing through Dust: An Elysian Tail right now and I'm loving it.

Here is the review of Dust I wrote if anyone was still on the fence about the game.

Just finished Mark of the ninja yesterday. That game is just too sick.
I'm playing it again with the stealthy ninja costume. They can't hear you if you run. But you do lose the ability to silent kill, so stealth mode it is.

Guilty Gear Accent core is out today on xbla. It's a remake for next gen consoles. In a month or so they'll update it to accent core plus which has a lot of character tweaks.

Indie warning!
Just finished the alpha build of Broforce. That was one of the most fun things I have played in a long time. It's an old school 2d game version of the Expendables. It's over the top and fun.
There are 10 or so characters so far: Rambro(Rambo), Brominator (Terminator), Brade, Browalker, BA Brorachus, Brobocop etc.
The interesting thing about it are the completely destroyable stages, and the fact every character has different primary and secondary attacks. For example Rambro has the standard machine gun as primary and grenade as secondary. Browalker has a shotgun and a grenade that calls an napalm air strike to where it lands.
The characters switch midstage when you free him from a cage. Then the game switches character randomly. For every couple freed cages you get another new character. This makes the games strategy vary midstage depending which character you get assigned.
Video and download/browser play here:

Charlie Murder drops tomorrow as the 2nd entry in XBLA's Summer Of Arcade, its been getting pretty outstanding reviews. Gamers that are fans of the Dishwasher series should be familiar with the art direction and style. If I ever get done with Dragon's Crown I'll prolly look into this one.

looks like mc esher made a video game.
been playing angry birds epic. now, before you say anything, it's a pretty sweet game for introducing rpg's to kids... my 3 year old loves it, and he's pretty good at it. does a bunch of my grinding, haha.
