I went from a 3G to the 4S the day it came out, don't think i could have stuck with the 3G all the way till now

I had the 3g a few years ago. Been on blackberry for a while but I miss iPhone, mainly because of the compatibility of Apple's products. I also got a Macbook, AppleTV, and an iPad, so I can have them all working together with iCloud, remote app, etc. Will probably get rid of my berry and cop the 5.

If you have the 4s I don't see how you'd want to upgrade so quickly. You just don't appreciate this fine piece of equipment. And for those that don't have the 4s, I don't see how this new phone won't entice you to cop the 4s at a discounted rate now.

unlike a lot of other people, the screen size right now on the iphone is fine to me, sure i wouldn't mind it being a little bit bigger but i'm not losing sleep over it

interested in seeing how much better they make the camera, i use mine a lot and that would be a main reason why i would want one

LTE is nice but the speeds I get right now are more than good enough

processor speed...the 4s is pretty damn fast so don't really care about that

let's be real the 4s is more than enough phone to last you atleast 2 years or more but we all want the latest and greatest

ayo i respect this 4s to the max but why wouldn't one want the newest when it comes to your telly. the latest and the greatest as it was stated. not necessary, of course, but lemme at it.

Apple debuted the hotly anticipated iPhone 5 in San Francisco today, with a longer design allowing for a fifth row of icons, and a 20 percent lighter weight. It’s also 18 percent thinner than the iPhone 4S, and boasts 44 percent more color saturation in the display.

The new phone also features ultra-fast wi-fi, more integrated touch sensors, and a twofold CPU speed increase.

Basically the only new features worh caring about

1. A6 chip 2x faster than the 4s
2. 4 inch screen - taller
3. LTE
4. 18% thinner
5. Improved camera sensor, still 8mp

Pretty cool, definitely worth getting if you have an upgrade, not gonna go out of my way to get it right now though, i can wait till the 5s

My gf has the gs3, really nice phone but with iOS6 this seems like it will be better, maybe i'm just an Apple fanboy though

My buddies have the S3 and I've enjoyed the look, also having a tremendously larger screen is better for playing games, which sucks on the 4 and I don't see it being helped with a longer screen. I also like that the S3 can expand its memory pass the stock memory. The iOS6 is interesting, but it is not enough to have me invest another two years in Apple.

Been wanting a new phone for a while now so I was waiting for this release and I have to say I am very disappointed. Five rows of icons, whoop-tee-doo big deal. I'm pretty sure the other minor improvements will barely be noticeable compared to 4S.

why does apple make different sized ipods, which is a dying product, yet they make only one size iphone every year, which accounts for 70% of their revenue...

Apple should come out with 3 iphones: 4 inch screen, 4.8 inch screen, 5.5 inch screen

disappoint. i was hoping they went to at least 4.3in and made the phone wider somehow.
now time to wait for htc's fall verizon offering before making a decision to upgrade.
i hear they might be coming out with a phablet.
