MP3 rips from soundcloud
I was using Offliberty until about two weeks ago but the site isn't functioning anymore. Anyone have any trusted sites they use to rip mp3's from soundcloud?

Hey, by the way who's Curt?
Re: MP3 rips from soundcloud
the interesting thing about jdownloader is that it actually finds the real deal file, and tries to download it, but can't, and then grabs the 128K mp3 that all other programs like videodownloader and sites like offliberty do.
example being a track someone uploaded as a 40MB wav file, but when you dl via offliberty or videodownloader, it gets the 128k MP3 stream.
if you use jdownloader, and paste the address in the linkgrabber, it finds the 40MB wav and shows there's a 40MB file to download, and then once you
click it to download, it downloads a ~4MB mp3 file instead.

I use Internet Download Manager. It's not free (there's a free trial though) and I wouldn't recommend it just for downloading from SoundCloud as you might as well use JDownloader for that, but if you regularly find yourself wanting to download streaming audio/video from various sites, it's a decent piece of software and is updated regularly.
