WiLD, PS4 Exclusive from Michel Ancel

Michel Ancel, creator of Rayman Origins and Beyond Good & Evil, split from Ubisoft earlier this month to co-found Wild Sheep. This is the first game from the developer, a new IP for the PS4. It looks crazy. The trailer hints at it, but you can take control of different creatures in the game like wolves, horses and sheep. More than that, you can control giants and more dangerous creatures. The world is the size of Europe.

Looks like it could be cool. Didn't hear about Ancel leaving Ubisoft though. Does that mean BG&E is officially dead? Major if so.
Or did he take the game with him? What about the Rayman franchise?

It sounds like any current projects in the works at Ubisoft are still chugging along with Ancel attached. Whether he will be finished with Ubi once all current obligations are finished is uncertain. For now he is splitting attention between WiLD/Wild Sheep and Ubisoft.
