has to be money, followed by a desire to never interact with women.

Re: Got $164,000 to spare?
not to be a wet blanket but a moderate PC running emulators could do most of that for roughly 2000$

$2000?Balzac wrote:not to be a wet blanket but a moderate PC running emulators could do most of that for roughly 2000$
My smartphone could run most of that and it cost me less than a quarter of what you are suggesting ...
Also, emulators do not captuer the authentic experience.

Re: Got $164,000 to spare?
your smartphone isn't running a gamecube emulator very well i bet
that was just a number i tossed out there that in my mind included a good pc and monitor along with controllers/adapters for the different systems.
but yeah you are right you can play emulators on 300$ computers.

I actually had to check that. There's a Dolphin emulator on the play store, but it does not look very stable as it is riddled with one stars, and negative, inflammatory reviews. It is possible to run Gamecube, Wii ROMS on Android devices in principle, but in practice ... welll most devices do not have powerful enough GPUs.Balzac wrote:your smartphone isn't running a gamecube emulator very well i bet

As for your other comment, well, I don't know either, but I suspect the real # isn't as high as you are suggesting. My laptop is pretty powerful but it's getting close to being 5 years old now (ROFL). I have not been checking up on what specs your average $300 computer has these days, but again I suspect that they're more than enough to get your vintage game on.
Btw, what happened to Sigma? I'm looking to join the PC master race, and want tips on what hardware I should acquire, where to get stuff for cheap, etc.

I can't comprehend all the time that must have gone into amassing that collection, but if you've already put in the work, why sell it? Tat's the part I don't get, dude clearly has the means/ space. I get unloading shit you don't need/want/use, but this is clearly something he's spent a lot of his life on.
