About a year ago, someone claiming to be an ex-Bethesda employee posted details of Fallout 4 on Reddit. Here's the post: -

Obviously, take it with a pinch of salt, but some of the stuff mentioned there has already come true.

Out 11-10-15. Ton of shit revealed during Bethesda's press conference. A video should surface in the morning. It's insanely ambitious.

Started it last night, got about 3 hours in. It's really fucking good, and overwhelmingly big.

It's a lot of fun. If you enjoyed Fallout 3, you will enjoy Fallout 4.

Expect noticeable frame-rate drops if you are playing on PS4, and don't expect the HD textures or facial / character animations to be as good as something like those in The Witcher 3.

They really tuned up the gun play. In Fallout 3, it was pretty much all V.A.T.S. all the time, as firing regularly just felt like wasting ammo.

In Fallout 4, the guns feel better with proper heft and realistic recoil patterns, and the game rewards skillful shooting outside of V.A.T.S.

At about 3-4 hours in, I'm really enjoying it. I want to try out the editor to build structures for my settlement, but I haven't tried that yet. I heard it was a bit clunky as of release.

I'd say this is a solid 8/10 title, plus or minus one point depending on how much you liked previous games in the franchise.

It's only after switching to PC that I realize how common this was in consoles, and how shitty games ran generally.

i dont like building settlements and stuff in the main game missions, sure its cool to have it as an option for those that do like it, but i think im actually stuck in the main game now because i cant find certain materials, and get bored looking for what i need when i just want to continue the damn story

other than that, the game is amazing

i just want to finish the main story quest and i cant right now because of this settlement shit
