Soundtrack[edit]
DJ Premier, DJ Mustard, and DJ Khaled curated NBA 2K16 's soundtrack. The soundtrack features 50 different songs, more than any other NBA 2K game. The soundtrack consists of six playlists; one curated by DJ Premier, one curated by DJ Mustard, a third curated by DJ Khaled, another called "Around the World", which includes many types of music from around the world, another called "Fan Favorites", which contains songs from past NBA 2K games, and lastly the "Master Playlist", which contains all songs. Players may choose which playlist they wish to listen to or create their own. As well as featuring licensed songs, several songs were made exclusively for the game.
