Wii U storage space

WTF man. this console is great, but the storage is SHITE. Anyone agree with me or have the same issue?
looks like a External HD is a necessity.

eh, i dont have that issue, i don't store anything, just play from disks.

Yeah, either buy physical disks or add an external drive.
If an external being cumbersome is a concern you could always plug in something like this:

You didn't buy one of the shitty 8 GB consoles did you?
I actually just bought a Wii U recently, haven't had any problems with the 32 GB, but I'm playing from discs.

I'm finally playing the Wind Waker HD remake, shit is fucking glorious and beautiful AF. Favorite Zelda.
