I went with FPS from this list.
But my favorite genre is probably Real Time Strategy......most dynamic gameplay combined with good replay value, usually.
FPS would be my second overall choice, due to the replay factor....and competition that comes out of it.....

DAMMIT!
I was thinking in my head "RTS, don't forget RTS!" And then I fucking forgot it. You know what? I'm gonna fix it.

RPG. A good RPG with a decent story can draw me in like no other genre.
While you're fixing, I'll suggest that 'rhythm action' is more worthy of its own genre than 'survival horror', which is basically action adventure in a horror scenario. It probably won't get any votes, but still.

that's more like it. beat 'em ups for me.
cps16 games. all of them. king of dragons. knights of the round. those games.
i actually count cadillacs & dinosaurs and final fight as fighty games (and therefore bad dudes & dragon ninja go in there too).
anyway, the reason snes was top of the console poll was street fighter. cannot be beat.

I went with action/adventure.
Fav games: Monkey Island (entire series), Space Quest, Sam n Max, Full Throttle, etc. etc.
This was a very difficult poll by the way.

Damn you Punchy!!!
Please don't diss my poll, these "limit 10" restrictions make it hard to do what I really want.

I'll have to make an entirely seperate poll.
