2008 has been my favorite year in movies so far.

I dont remember a time when ive gone to the theatre more and come out as satisfied each time than i have this year. And it looks like a promising second half is on its way. Movies ive seen this year and thoroughly enjoyed.

Horton hears a who
Cloverfield
Wall-e (movie of the year imo)
hancock (first have was great)
sex and the city (

i got atleast another 3 movies on my list this year. I cant remember a time ive been satisfied with 12 movies in one year.

I thought The Incredible Hulk was pretty impressive. I'm looking forward to Pineapple Express.

Haven't seen any of the summer blockbusters yet but I enjoyed Rambo a whole lot and might be a number one contender as film of the year for me.

i didnt really like cloverfield, but overall, this year has been pretty great.

watchmen doesnt come out till '09 right?

It's certainly been a really good summer but last year was No Country, There Will Be Blood, King of Kong... gotta see what happens in the fall

I think that is kind of the point, it ain't even oscar season yet. You think Dark Knight will get a best picture nod?

never. probably a best supporting actor for ledger, but i seriously doubt they'll give it a best picture nomination

Raiders of the Lost Ark garnered nominations.

All of the LOTRs garnered nominations and one of them won.
