I have been waiting for for Marianne vs. vampires the whole time.. One thing that doesn't make sense is it is not like Erick and Bill are the only vampires in Bon Ton, someone would of noticed and alerted them by now to what is going on.

Wasn't the first season based on the turmoil caused by Bill being the first vampire in Bon Temps? I'm pretty sure its a little backwater town.

Watch it. Start with the first season and work our way up. There's a few lame episodes. Good thing is that they'll do that to explain shit. Setting up the plot more something real entertaining later on.

Terrible episode.

Why does Maryanne seem to have zero effect on Andy, Hoyt, Lafayette and Tara's mother? I know it was explained that Sookie, Sam and the vamps are immune because of their powers but then are the others just yet-to-be revealed closet supernaturals? Am I wrong to try to apply any logic to this fucking show?

nah she casted a spell on them all at that party she invited them too and then again at the bar - but you could argue she has made a choice not to cast a spell on those few tho.

I don't think we should try to bring too much logic into this though

at this point yes, that's really the only way to enjoy it

not a shred of this episode actually made sense from the opening to the closing credits

Both Lafayette and the mother took Tara from Maryanne (err Sookies) house against her own will. They saw her and even had a few words with her.

Then why/when was Hoyt's mom affected? She was just chilling at Merlots and getting screamed at when she went all reverse masta killa in the triumph video.

Then there was the time Maryanne put the sheriff under her spell by giving him a backrub.

for the record, you guys don't actually watch this and think it's a great show, right? you watch this and laugh AT it, right? you don't actually think the character development of jason stackhouse or the tormented relationship between I AM VAMPYRE and SOOOOKIE is actually interesting or worthwhile in the grand scheme of things, do you?

my girl watches the show regularly, and so i am put through it, but i enjoy it. in a laugh at it kind of way.
