it was entertaining enough. possibly the best exploration of a gay relationship in a mainstream movie since brokeback mountain

the worst insult to the legacy of the character was not the fights or the absence of teh deerstalker hat or the farting dog, it was the general retardation of the bad guy's plot. the big reveal felt like the end of a scooby doo episode. good thing the story was entirely secondary to the witty banter and the action set pieces

pretty sure that's a good bet

i don't know why they invented lord blackstool instead of just going with Moriarty to begin with

Because it gives you are reason to spend your money on the sequel.

i'm willing to bet at least 80% of the people who saw and enjoyed this movie don't actually know who moriarty is or the role in the story series

 No bullshit, first thing i said after i finished watching with the girl was "that shit felt like a glorified scooby doo episode"

Movie was fun but I don't really care to see it again or if they do a sequel.

i thought it was entertaining. not the greatest movie ever, but solid and prolly worth watching a second time. i actually wasn't expecting much based on the trailers. looking forward to the sequel.

Was dissappointed most be the reveal. I like it when it's slow and detailed Poirot style.

ending wasnt perfect, but overall this movie was brilliantly done.

well written, well acted. rdj owned the part.

highly original action sequences with narration before they actually happen in super slo mo. awesome.

music added a lot as well. really captured the spirit of the franchise.

also im a huge fan of snatch, but sherlock is clearly a different pedigree. it will be hard for ritchie to top this one.

best action movie ive seen in years and my pick for best movie of 2009.
