Damn son. In his parody prime he was the man.

Airplane! is still unfuckwitable parody wise.

Airplane is a comedy classic.
Naked Gun and Naked Gun 2.5 are near-classics.

Someone twitter OJ with the news.

Leslie, you were born in Canada but you'll always be an american comedy legend to me.

Aside from the obvious, this is one of the things I'll always remember Leslie Nielsen for:

Knew he was a serious actor back in the day, had no idea about this though.

I bought that Police Squad set the day it came out I think? And remembered most of it from when it first ran.

the opening sequence where they are shooting at each other acrossed the street only to (dead)pan back and show them right acrossed from each other by a few feet....

I had a dream once that I was watching a Benny Hill movie with Leslie Nielson in it. Someone tell me it wasn't just a dream?

my grammar is deader than that nice beaver was.. is it across the street? That just looks dumb either way to me.

It's across. Acrossed (or acrost) aren't really words. :smugkid:

Serious good looks on this. They're replaying it and the sequel all week.
