They mentioned that he got shanked in prison by one of the Russians a few times during the episode. It's also the reason Otto faked suicide to get onto the infirmary, to kill the guy who stabbed Jax.

I heard there was a bunch of videos between seasons on the fx website showing what happened while they were in prison. I'm guessng that's where they showed him getting stabbed.

Yeah I know that. So they never showed it? it was just something that happened while they were in there?

Did you not see my previous post with the video? They released it before the season began.

Second episode in a row they've stressed the point of how much of a pussy Jax's dad was. Weird.

Bobby is now the official "Club Oracle." He knows Clay just put a death sentence on them and all of their families.

Jax telling Tara every detail of his criminal exploits is so fucking retarded. Opie doesn't say shit to his wife.

The sheriff needs to get way more ruthless for me to see him as anything more than a speed bump fro SAMCRO.

Now the Russian beef is in full-swing. The cartel is going to kill mad people this season.

Clay is a sellout bitch.

I've always thought this was weird, but figured it's leading up to some sort of twist in the back story.

More of the cardboard Russians?
When I saw Opie get thrown off of the truck going at least 30 mph, I knew he was going to be just fine.

Yeah.

Trejo rollin' with David Aceveda and Sen Dog = BEST SHOW EVER.

never heard about the short scenes in the pen.

Favorite scene of last episode: Danny Trejo (Romeo) just standing there looking crazy doing nothing as little gusts of dirt explode around his boots while being fired at by Russians.

You cant not love this show.

They are clips that were shot for the season to tell the back story, but didn't fit into the show as smoothly since they started the season post-jail. Instead of releasing them with the DVD later Sutter put them online on the SOA app starting about a month before the premier. One each week.

Also, second episode with Trejo was fantastic. Standing there while being shot at was exactly what I'd expect from any Trejo character/role.

I think it'd be really funny if someone went Jaz on SOA since Jaz is posting in here. :megaman:

Yup. I bugged out when I realized Aceveda was there. More cameos by folks from The Shield are needed.

I heard the beat to Latin Lingo come on when I heard that.

So far so good with this season. Can't stand that new sheriff, he's on that bitch-ass black cop shit. Fuck him. And it's all about Gemma buying the homie with two fingers some actual hands, that guy is the greatest. The old sheriff, he'll bounce back probably mid way through the season; he was trying to retire and say fuck the game anyway and now look, he's depressed and bored. Give it time. I gotta feeling Opie lying to his chick is gonna screw him in the end.

I accept that.

Wasn't really onto this show, but just tore through 3 seasons and the couple from this season. Great show.

The only thing that saved this episode was the drug vote at the end. Hopefully that sets in trajectory the remainder of the series.

Isn't that what a sheriff is supposed to be like?

Chuck is actually one of the worst aspects of the show. He's from the Jar Jar Binks school of distracting, unnecessary comedy.

Can someone explain to me why the Sons are so hesitant to enter the drug trade?

Also, is being 1/2 black worse than being 1/2 rican? They might have to lynch him before he snitches (being a weak willed minority, in an episode full of idiot minority characters).

Are you fucking kidding? Clay not only put SAMCRO at risk; he put everyone in imminent peril. The cartel they're dealing with will annihilate a generation in the course of a night. That's why the vote last night is the first legitimate nail in the club's coffin. Fuckin' Piney is scared.
