Never saw this, but a friend had it and I remember wanting to peep it.
Looking through this thread's poster images, Im wondering did one company do all these movie posters or was it just an 80s motif to have humorous caricatures done on the film's theme?

i have a very vague memory of Night Shift. Uptight and over-sensible Henry Winkler works in a morgue or something to that effect and some new employee fucks it all up for him. Can't remember if it was any good or not.
I prefer these hand-illustrated posters over the usual photoshop bullshit any day of the week.

night shift if i remember correctly is about fonzie running hos through the morgue with some buddy. i dont' think it was that sleezy, but i mostly remember it from comedy central reruns so i might be off

fonzie runs the morgue, michael keaton is his assistant who has great ideas (salt and pepper in the same container! or shit like that don't remember specifically) and shelly long is a fuckin hooker who needs a pimp, cue one of batman's great ideas and pretty soon they got a ho train in the fucking morgue
also it's ron howard's first movie and kevin costner plays a frat boy for about five seconds

this feels appropriate, although it doesn't really have any nudity or sleaze. it's just an incredibly bad comedy, bizarre and odd to the point where it almost turns into some sort of outsider art/idiot savant shit
directly by joel schumaker of all people. his next two were st elmos fire and lost boys. so maybe the retardation was at least partially intended.
the cast is incredible - mr t, busey, bill maher, otis day (of otis day and the knights from animal house), barbarian brothers, paul rodriguez

Night Shift is pretty conventional, there's almost nothing sexploitative about it. Fonzie's the timid guy who has to learn how to come out of his shell w/help from Keaton, and Long's the hooker with the heart of gold. I remember a funny bit with Keaton and a limo's (or hearse's) tinted windows but that's it

Rambu: The Intruder is a movie I don't own but desperately want to see.

Rambu is pretty much impossible to find, but you can see da gawd Peter O'Brien get his gunz and permz on in The Stabilizer which was put out on a legit reg1 dvd

I just converted my VHS of the Troma Collector's Edition Director's Cut to DVD. One of Lloyd's best intros. Significantly better than the R-Rated cut from Media who removed half the stuff from the poster.Raphael De La Ghetto wrote:I watched this movie last night based on this thread. Yes, they're worth checking out. Haven't seen all the films in the set yet, but Malibu Express and Hard To Ticket To Hawaii are worth their weight in goldbattlecatmeowstab212 wrote: Can anyone vouch for THIS Andy Sidaris collection:

Very rarely do I download movies. Sucks that Rambu virtually impossible to find, hopefully a label like Synapse, Arrow or Code Red can release it.StormShadow wrote:do you download spartan? Rambu's on cinemageddon

Saw this the other day. I stayed away from it because I though the concept was repulsive,
but it's actually more lighthearted and camp than it has any right to be. Sleazy as fuck too,
Ilsa being the most demanding mistress ever was a very cool idea.
I can definitely see why this is so beloved by exploitation-afficianados.
A great movie it is not but it kept me interested the whole way through,
which a lot of similar movies doesn't.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly
