yes. the book is awesome. this movie looks like a piece of shit.

although knowing the 'gimmick' of the book though will probably decrease a lot of the enjoyment for you. It caught me off guard when I read it and I thought it was an amazing book. it won a handful of literary awards in 2004 or whenever it came out

Saw an afternoon screening, it was cool. Broadbent and Whishaw are solid as expected. The post-apoc shit needs subtitles as the dialogue was virtually indecipherable. First act is understandably all over the place but it pieces together well after that.
