Screw y'all, I actually liked Breaking Dawn

Post by Cash Rulz »

Easily the best of the Twilight movies.

At least this time the first hour that they drag you through was full of comedic moments. Still hard listening to Kirsten Stewart talk, but the ending was worth it.

Begin :naswtf: posts.

It's not creepy in anyway, in fact, it's a point of comedy at the beginning. This one was not as "made for teens" as the other ones. It was very much along the lines of dark the way the last Harry Potter was and the ending was off the chain.

well yeah k-stew and anna kendrick are in this vampire world and they struggle to maintain style and grace there within. this one sparkly vampire sniffs k-stews douche from across the classroom, has a heatstroke & then they fall in love. that isn't really a spoiler du, that was established in the first movie

I'd be interested.

I mean, I understand that series itself is pretty much for teen girls (therefore, I'm pretty obligated to watch). However, the formula I found for most of these movies (like I Am Number 4, Chronicle, etc.) is hour and half of getting involved with the main characters' daily life and struggle (which I can definitely do without) and then 30 mins of non-stop action. The last 30 mins of these movies have been pretty good.

I wanted that to be so much better. Now I doubt a sequel will be made.

I've seen the first two on FX and actually made it through them, I figure at this pace I'll finish the series sometime in 2015.

Do you know what vampires were like in cinema before Anne Rice fucked that shit up with her bullshit Vampire Chronicles? They were fucking awesome, man. Male vampires evolved from creepy gothic grotesques to pussy-magnet pimps of the highest order. Female vampires were some of the flyest bitches and they dabbled in beautiful what-dreams-are-made-of eclectic lesbianism, word to Ingrid Pitt. When I was little, I received beats all the time from my old folks because I wanted to stay up late and watch these films. I appreciated that stuff and still do. It was educational, shaped me into the man I am today and I'm eternally grateful. Now, like everything around these days, it's all catering for "emosh" teen girls and Tim Burton looking thirty plus bitches, who want to be best friends with their daughters instead of a having a proper mother daughter relationship. I can't stomach any of that crap.

How the fuck did we go from this...

I don't get caught up in the emotional aspect of the movies. Plus, a movie that has people dealing with emotions doesn't define the viewer. My favorite movie of all time is "Imitation of Life" and you can't get more emo than that shit.

I realize that people have gone soft, but I can enjoy a movie like this then smoke some weed, get some pussy and go whip a niggas ass and I'll be alright. Fortunately, I can always watch the Raid next and confirm that I'm a man.

Those older vampire movies were wack as shit to me. I'd be interested in knowing what hood raised black person on this board actually likes that shit??? They are corny and campy as hell. I realize there's alot of people here who don't like the same shit I do. I'm good with that. I'll always have BlackPlanet.

I'll try to peep Vampire Lovers.

For real. They could've sped up the process of him getting to know that chick and subbed it for more action.

Squeezing a gigantic dog to death negates that.
