Really surprised that Tom Hanks wasn't nominated and neither was the makeup/hairstylist for American Hustle.

Hair/makeup was one of the few things American Hustle deserved. It looks like it's positioned to take the mantle of this years WTF best picture winner and enter the WTF Hall of Fame with Crash, Argo, King's Speech.

I feel like Wolf had 2 superfluous scenes that would have made the movie shorter and more enjoyable for me.

I really don't want to break it to everyone because I feel like a bunch of film snobs would be quick to atta---ah, fuck it. Inside Llewyn Davis was lazy writing, a metaphor of its subject matter wrapped in amazing cinematography, decent acting, and a complete lack of a plot.

Just confused as to why its gotten so much love, I suppose. Coen brothers are allowed to make movies that aren't no country.

I'm rooting for jonah hill but I still have to see wolf of wall street.

He was enjoyable, kinda relateble, funny and played the part well. He is your preference but I don't know if I would use amazing to describe his performance. Leto, Fassbender or Adbi are probably more serving but amazing might be reserved for just those dudes IMO.

Agree about J-Law, she killed it. 2nd best thing of the movie right after Bale's hairdo.

Just saw "Captain Phillips", and wasn't that blown away by Hanks. Thought it was much more about the Somalis as the movie progressed, and Hanks took a back seat in every sense. He deserved a nomination I suppose, but he obviously wasn't beating Bale, Ejiofor, or McConaughey this year.

Would definitely have given Greengrass the nod over Scorsese.

Glad to see "Dirty Wars" get the nod at documentary. Jeremy Scahill is that dude.

I don't know how anyone can front on Lawrence in that movie. Even if you didn't like the movie...she really stood out (and not just cause I want to fill her with penis).
