Favorite Football Movie
As always, FROM THE LIST:
Re: Favorite Football Movie
Remember the Titans. Avon barks dale and opie make the movie.
Re: Favorite Football Movie
I said any given Sunday because the stories are sweeter but Friday night lights is probably the best in terms of showing what that's like but also varsity blues is a classic teenage struggle movie

Hope this poll is rigged to ban anyone who votes for Rudy.
Voted FNL. Love half of the options though.

OG Longest Yard.
North Dallas 40 is the real answer tho.

Re: Favorite Football Movie
Think I fucked up and voted the Program when I wanted Varsity Blues. Varsity Blues is the obvious answer because it was Paul Walker that was on his way to Florida State.
edit. Longest Yard is obviously an acceptable answer with FSU legend and running back Burt Reynolds.

Word. I thought about adding that but figured most people wouldn't have seen and it wouldn't stand a chance. That and The Best of Times just missed the cut.

Whoever the fuck voted Waterboy needs to explain themselves.
How is that piece of shit almost winning?

Went Replacements. It was more enjoyable than the others. A few of the others would definitely be qualified as better movies, but Replacements usually holds my attention more than the others.

Remember The Titans: inspiring, racially-harmonious, and just makes you feel good (nh @ "just makes you feel good").

Re: Favorite Football Movie
Pretty much the only thing these three movies have in common is that they are set in high school.Bones wrote:friday night lights, remember the titans and varsity blues are pretty much the same story
Re: Favorite Football Movie
Rudy is hella inspirational and all that but even being a true story, it's just a gimmick. Eff Notre Dame.
Any Given Sunday is a fun movie...but no.
Waterboy was straight up wack, and weird.
Varsity Blues, I love...but more on some I was acually in high school at the time and Billy Bob taught me you need to keep drinking after throwing up in the washing machine at house parties.
Little Giants was cute, but come on....
The Program was awesome. Tell Gucci and Hus about Lattimer. He was an actual real hardcore, roided out rapist.
I could understand voting for Remember The Titans...it is epic. But Friday Night Lights is the GOAT. Booby Miles forever.
