just recently finished off the season in which i bounced (six?) then caught the fat mac year as well and enjoyed them more than iwas really expecting to. think taking four/five years off ended up a pretty refreshing thing to do and am gonna try to be all the way caught up here in a few more weeks

There hasn't been a worthy season since four, maybe season five, and who knows how many years ago that was poppin'. It's a dreadful show that used to be great like most comedies. I'd thought it had been cancelled sinced FX bastardized it to its bitch network.

I think it peaked with Mac & Charlie's fake death.

weren't there like two seasons where they bought on new writers (i recall the worst seasons being written by a few women)? Then the cast started writing again and it got way better. Not as good as the first few seasons but definitely not bad.
