This show is so ridiculous and stupid and I can't wait to marathon it.

Very excited. This show carries a lot more emotional impact than 90% of the rest of current TV for me.

my advice is marathon it & get it over with. then you don't even have the option when cram time comes.

I'm only half way so far but enjoying specifically because there's more focus on political maneuvering and less on melodramatic intrigues. Last season was verging on Scandal territory with the latter.

I'm on episode 7 and really digging this season more than last. But I agree with what Drizz said.

Fan of this idea
TBH I think they made a mistake bringing him back, the way they left it at the end of 2 was a perfect resolution to his arch through the first 2 seasons. Seeing him pop up in 3 felt like some gotcha! twist from a basic-ass comic book where nobody ever really dies for good

BAH this all eps released at once shit is tearing us apart

Can we just agree that Meechum's aviator shades are subtly killing it this season

ite imo on monday we should open the floodgates. i can prob fit all the eps in by then. how many are there?

i'd assumed that this would be the final season. the first one corresponded reasonably closely to the british OG, second didn't really but imo tusk=king. or maybe pres=king. anyway.

i think my theory fell apart in ep 4 because
stamper went to go work for that lawyer bich. my vision was that he busts his paralyzed ass to get back into the game only to get murked so as to keep him quiet. i know he's always been loyal. he's a fucking marine, just life his father. but i'm just saying, why take the chance?

I thought they were going to keep matching, in S2 the president and tusk combined fit the King's part well enough and Stamper seemed to be dead (obv that doesn't work anymore)
if blast is saying there is an s4 that means Frank obv doesn't die at the end of this. although Stamper switching sides fits with Brit Stamper, so your idea could still hold up because Meechum is the bi-curious equivalent of Corder)

i would absolutely love if they ended it all with Claire getting Meechum to kill Frank

Because the UK show the US version is based on only had 3 seasons, to match the 3 books that it was based on. Through the first 2 seasons the US version retained enough elements of the original to make the repeat of the 3 piece arch very plausible.

My understanding was that they had completed the arc of the uk version after season 2. Prime minister=president. They're on their own storytelling wise in season 3.
