Best New TV Drama
Some really strong choices this year. I have a feeling that Better Call Saul will dominate this poll, so I have decided to allow everyone to have 2 votes.

Narcos then Daredevil. I'm starting to really get into the Man In The High Castle but it's a slow burn.

Fuck, voted for Robot but didn't see Saul in there, that's the one.
Narcos disappointed me, loved all the cartel stuff but the douchy overrating lead turned me off and I just kinda fell out of it by ep 6 or so.

Re: Best New TV Drama
Ash Vs Evil Dead is my favorite but it probably would've fit better in the comedy bracket and its certainly not the "best" show.
Best would be between The Jinx, Daredevil and Better Call Saul, but I feel like the latter should be docked because the best episode of the entire season was the episode based on Mike and it kinda made me wish he was the lead character.
Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell was solid.
Still working my way through Deutschland 83 and Man in the High Castle but enjoying both a lot so far.

although everybody clamoring for it certainly led me to higher expectations than were warranted

I haven't watched Narcos yet and I don't know what to take from this exactly but out of the ten people who told me how amazing it was, an overriding theme between all of them seemed to be that its one of the first things they've watched with subtitles. Or the first one they've watched since City of God came out when they were in college.

I haven't seen all of the nominees, but the ones I've seen, the majority are worthy of winning this poll.
Better Call Saul was really strong, but I also highly enjoyed Mr. Robot, The Jinx, Deutschland 83, Humans, and to a lesser extent, Fear the Walking Dead. Also, a show I feel that I'm the only one that watched, which I thought was very good was Fortitude.
I'm only 3 episodes into The Man in the High Castle. While I was excited at the premise, the show just hasn't grabbed me to quickly binge through them.
Voting Saul and Robot.

Was trying not to be too
Re: Best New TV Drama
Votes Narcos(I regret this decision now...won't bore you with the details) and man in the high castle although I've only watched the first episode. But I will bore you with this: Almost voted Bloodline although I only got into it like 8 episodes in, I had to watch it bcuz one of the lead characters is a family friend of my girl and they bought my son a really expensive gift when he was born. I'm fucking this poll up.

Re: Best New TV Drama
a fair amount of narcos watchers probably also watch jane the virgin, so subtitles should be no problemo.
only watched three of these, went mr roboto and the jinx
