I think the spot on the card probably contributed. There was a pre-show Women of Honor match, then ACH vs. Caprice Coleman (which was surprisingly good), then Briscoe vs. Stevie. So they were never going to go out there and go high-octane, balls-to-the-wall, but what they did produce just felt incoherent. It's disappointing because the last two times I've seen ROH, Mark has been in this spot and has had sorta throwaway matches with good opponents- last time it was vs. Donovan Dijak at a TV taping.

Anyone else watch Takeover yet? I'm pretty surprised to see American Alpha lose the titles already, the only explanation I can think of is that they're getting called up soon. Was also shocked to see Demon Finn pinned clean, that shit doesn't make sense regardless of call up or not.

Death Valley Driver on the apron?!?! Nakamura vs Aries was the highlight for me. Was also hoping they'd protect the demon, but Joe's taken two Takeover L's so they needed to make him look strong if he's the new NXT gatekeeper. Nia Jax has improved, female monster heel is very much needed on the main roster. Word is NXT roster is getting raided hard for the draft.

I bet Alpha dropped the titles so they have an excuse for the first ever tag iron man match, or two-out-of-three falls match.

I am excited for the draft, tbh. I miss the excitement of the draft shows.

I really hope they do an all day network special and make the draft seem like a huge deal.

I started a new job in the middle of May and need a good excuse to stay home for draft day.

Zayn going over clean on Cesaro out of nowhere with this was great:

I enjoyed the Shield segment. Alberto Del Rio and KO interacting was fun, thought the AJ Styles and smark trolling Cena segment was pretty damn good as well. The rest forgettable.

Well, Zayn/Cesaro have been doing that spot for a while, but I've never seen Zayn get a win with it. Totally on board with guys having multiple finishers, like what they've done with AJ Styles.

Cesaro's been doing that spot for years. This one has been floating around the internet for a while...

If you guys haven't heard the latest in LOLTNA news, last week's episode of Impact Wrestling was only nine minutes long. Due to technical difficulties, the previous 111 minutes of their time slot was the same four commercials on a loop. Here's a clip:

Also, Billy Corgan saved the company from shutting down, as they didn't have enough money to fund production of their most recent tapings. He's now a minority stakeholder in TNA.

So much promise, once upon a time.

Dat spear/pedigree counter tho.

Still shocked Seth went over clean on Roman. Happy they put the strap on Dean, he is infinitely better when he's in a storyline that means something.

They just confirmed the brand split draft for that first SmackDown on Tuesday, July 19th.

shouldve been the pin

pulling him into the center of the ring and doing it again was redundant.

That was quick, assuming they have something big planned for that draft and SS (brock?) if they're going straight to the Shield triple threat at Battleground.

When it was announced Brock would be fighting at UFC 200, WWE released a statement saying that it was only a one off fight at UFC, and that Brock would be back competing in WWE for Summerslam.
"Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200," the statement read. "Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for Summerslam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network."

Is their wellness thing for roids or drugs, or both?

30 day suspension for first offense with weed or whatever seems unlikely. Even more confusing, if they knew before MITB the clean loss makes sense, but booking him in the triple threat on Monday doesn't.

I doubt they knew. Last night's Raw would make absolutely no sense if they knew.

Yeah, but how do you build a Shield triple threat without the Shield. Please work this into the angle and let Rollins take credit for sending him into a downward spiral.

WWE just fines people for weed. Roids or Coke.
