so good. was way behind on this show, but just watched this one, gaylords force & the #staydrunk one. didnt think the gaylords force one was all that great, but meat jerkin & the stay drunk one especially is way up high on the list of great workaholics. blake turning around on the bike, 'why don't you be a bus angel...', blake taking the future babes out with the lazer pointer & everything jillian was so great (need a gif of her wrapping tp around her face or dipping a plant//the coffee carafe in the toilet). thought i was going to have a bunch more to watch but looks like there's only two. damnZeed Stun wrote:meat jerkin beef boys was a top 3 episode.

The cult show earns 26 additional episodes, while the popular web series gets the half-hour treatment in the summer.
Workaholics (Comedy Central)
Comedy Central is banking on Workaholics. The network took the opportunity of the Television Critics Association winter press tour to announce a pickup for fourth and fifth seasons -- and order a new series based on the popular web series Drunk History from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

'Key & Peele' Renewed for Third Season at Comedy Central
Workaholics, which recently pulled an average 2 million viewers in its summer run and performed especially well among the network's coveted younger males, will produce an additional 26 episodes under the pickup.
"When I realized Workaholics is not a reality show, it made me appreciate the guys' talent that much more," said Comedy Central head of original programming and production Kent Alterman. "It only seems right that we would renew for two seasons."

Co-creators and stars Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck said they were "stoked" about news of the renewal.
As for Drunk History, Comedy Central first gave an order for a pilot presentation last summer. The viral success, which has seen the likes of Jack Black, Zooey Deschanel and Jim Carrey reenacting drunken narrations of historical events, will run as a weekly half-hour program.
The series comes from Gary Sanchez Productions, with Ferrell, McKay, Chris Henchy and Owen Burke serving as executive producer alongside creator and star Derek Waters and writer and director Jeremy Konner.
“Will and I have always believed booze brings out truth," said McKay. "Sometimes that truth involves hitting on airport bar janitors or eating cheese fries at 4 a.m. But in this case, we hope that truth will shine on our nation’s history."
Drunk History is slated for a summer debut, while new episodes of Workaholics star Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 10 p.m.

So was there two episodes last night? My DVR only recorded Booger Nights, which was pretty great.

Re: Workaholics Season 3
You guys didn't think the last episode was funny? Really?
I thought it was great. I love when they go with bizarre storylines...Adam had me cracking up the whole episode.
And its fucking awesome that they were able to get Robert Englund to play the ghost dude...him getting all gay and rapey to Adam at the end was just tooo good.

Re: Workaholics Season 3
agree that last night's episode was meh. also, DEFINITELY agree about letting other people write for them. regardless of the overall episode plot(s), the best parts are the little riffs they go on back and forth, which is undoubtedly aided by them writing the episodes themselves.
Re: Workaholics Season 3
^Exactly. Other writers feel like punch line humor. When they write it it's closer to a funny conversation.
