Mignola cover art?
yup. did Cronos too.
Cool. This was in some doubt. Del Toro and Mignola were on the outs a bit this past year. Good sign.

Edit: That's not Mignola.

Yeah, it's pretty fucking awesome. Geeked that it'll finally be available to buy on blu ray. Even dvd copies are ridiculously expensive.

anyone have the Blu Ray Criterions of The Game, Royal Tenenbaums, or La Haine? Debating copping all or some depending on how good the extras are.

I have all three but only the Game in bluray. The Game looks amazing in the format, highly recommend it. Once of Fincher's best films visually. The behind the scenes footage is pretty cool, the alternate ending is completely disposable/dumb.

Don't remember how good the extras are on the other two, been years since I've watched them.

actually i'm pretty sure that's one of the only Melville's they still do have. I would expect they'll squeak out a blu-ray before they lose the rights, like they did for Le Cercle Rouge and Army of Shadows.

 thanks for the heads up, reason doesn't read before he posts

Winding Refn in da criterion closet

mind is spinning with possibilities of why he's in their office, he's a huge fan of a couple movies that they haven't put out on bluray, so maybe he's doing a commentary; really hoping that they are going to put out one of his lesser known movies.
I would :jiz: all over the place for a stacked criterion of Valhalla Rising.

What about the Pusher trilogy? I have no idea who has the rights to those movies, but they would seem to fit right in with movies they've released from that era before (Man Bites Dog etc.).
