I'm a huge Parker and Stone fan, so to me this movie is brilliant. Funny as hell, great dialogue, unique visual style. Their ability to parody is unprecedented. Also, as usual, the soundtrack is unbelievable.
Yep, got the uncut, unrated DVD, though I've yet to watch it. I saw it in the theatre the week it came out. Fuckin' hysterical.

Crash.

Normally when everyone loves a movie I don't bother, cause I figure it sucks. I've flipped Lions Gate stock a couple times so I thought I'd finally watch it. Pretty damn good movie, though I felt stupid for not connecting the story before it was revealed.

Taegukgi (Brotherhood)

Not bad. Its a movie about the Korean war, looked like it cost a bit to make and was well acted by all. Some of the battle scenes were :ohsh:

Kill Bill Vol.1 (Uncut Version)

What's uncut about it? Is the main action sequence in colour? Anything else?

Yeah "The House Of Blue Leaves" scene is full colour, has some added bits in it also. Theres more to the anime sequence and Sofie gets her other arm cut off. Not much but it adds a little I guess.

Ok this afternoon I watched "A History Of Violence".

I enjoyed it, solid acting and I like the way the subject matter was handled and when the violence came it Dave didnt hold back. The bloke shot in the face :ohsh:

Viggo Mortensen is a cool actor and conveyed the best side of Tom and the menacing side. He kicked ass. Ed Harris was golden as usual. Also I have a thing for Maria Bello and we see her bush in this so the movie gets an extra point.

The Incredibles

10000000000000000000000 stars

I can't believe I hadn't seen this movie before. It was better than any moving image with sound ever displayed on a screen. Pixar rules. Brad Bird rules. etcetcetc

Seijun Suzuki - Pistol Opera

Damn you Seijun Suzuki.

Pistol Opera is an incredibly interesting film from the 80 year old master of abstract yakuza experimentalism. What it is NOT, is anything like its trailer which has been floating around on various DVDs and online sources. While said trailer is a lightning quick mash up of every interesting moment of the film, the film itself is

Shall We Dance (American Re-make) <3 stars
Richard Gere is a crusty old tool, married to Susan Sarandon (who still has a nice rack) and writes wills for a living. He takes up dance because he, like the rest of America, wants to touch J.Lo's ass. While this movie is sweeter than cocaine cotton candy, its the excellent performance by J.Lo's ass that carries the film. In these prolonged dancing routines, the ass remains at its perfect 90 degree angle, impossibly tight for being so large. Her dancing skirts hug each cheek effortlessly, providing definition and texture unseen since her khaki applebottoms late of "Anaconda." As an added bonus, her tighter tops reveal a nice little set of b-cups that just beg to be touched. Truly makes up for a film I have largely forgotten about already. That fat guy from 8 Mile bags Mya though, in a rather implausible scene remoniscient of A_Train's signature. And word to the milfy blond lady with the huge knockers - she would get it quick fast.

Please tell me your missus made you watch this movie!

Anyway, I watched Tupac Ressurection. Never been a huge fan of 2Pac (loved Me Against The World) but I liked this doc. Sure its not the best documentary ever but it was pretty cool. 7/10
