i'm encouraged by the fact that at least a significant part of it is in space, i can fuck with that. i don't need little green men shooting at the mcconnaissance with lazers but Half-a-way dying in some moon sludge or some shit would be cool
That third trailer kinda gave away more of the plot than I was hoping. Just guessing but the third act will be disappointing in the sense that the plot will be unresolved. Obv way too early but that's what I'm guessing.
The length of this film coupled with how heavy it gets at times (Rust watching is kids age all at once had me ) made the whole black hole/tesseract sequence and the concept of “they” seem so lazy and convenient at first. But I don't know, maybe it's cause I like sci-fi, I actually think it might work on some level, cause 5 dimensional beings would be dope. down to 10%, but a strong 10 cause how the fuck can he save us if "they" already exist?
Yeah I saw this on IMAX yesterday and loved the shit out of it.
Thought Nolan did a pretty amazing job of taking some pretty heavy scientific theories and putting them on screen in an understandable manner. (really the only part I didn't understand was how he ended up back at Jupiter alive).
Apparently the simulation model they built to produce the visuals for the worm hole and black hole was so advanced that it actually led to some advancements in the field of research.
Loved that they were able to restrain from spoiling those sequences in the trailers (and Damon's cameo for that matter). Really amazing looking film and McConaughey was really great once again.
The scene where he watches his kids age and basically loses his whole life over a matter of minutes was a real gut punch.
I have a few issues with the ending though, he's gone to the end of the universe and back just to see his daughter and then he says hi and just bounces?
