They came out and danced for the first 10 minutes. The the Hampshire college one did a bit about "things she was afraid to admit" and I remember one of the "jokes" being that she had webbed feet. The jewey one did a bit where things in life would come up and remind her of theme songs for movies, then sing or hum the theme. They then put on rollerblades did another terrible dance routine and it was over.

i think this one too was billed as "broad city live" like a live version of the show or something. it was at mtl just for laughs.

The party episode was alright..... but when Abby was a blacked out old time jazz singer I lost it, and it won me over.
Alana uses her nudity a lot of for jokes but it still makes me laugh.

I like this show. Or I mostly like Ilana. Shes a hippy without being pretentious and funny and sweet. I understand why the show mostly has to be about Abby but I don't like the actress or her character very much. Shes got 907/step one arms too.

they're a good combo imo. haven't really noticed an undue focus on abbey but now that you mention it the training the fat dude ep and the dildo ep are both centered around her.

I think Abby is actually low key funnier, Illanas character is crazier but Abby is a great physical comedian and more subtle. She's like a lady larry david at times.
They're both pretty awesome in general though.

ya as much as i like ill nana the show would be boring with just her. she needs abbey to go off.

Her awful acting is at its worst when she has to pretend to be drunk or high or the forced "omg akward"-convos with her neighbour. Shes just not any good tbh.

You and these opinions. She plays awkward great and as far as "acting" goes, this is an over the top comedy. What exactly are you expecting?

It's not that I expect great acting. I just don't think shes funny or good at what she does. Esp, like I said, when she has to try to be awkward or pretend to be high.

Well, shit...I don't know what to tell you. Maybe Broad city isn't for you then cause she really is the driving force behind the whole show.

No I like it. Just not her. I'm sure people like BR for diff reasons, mine's Ilana, seeing girls talk about dicks and the black guy is cool too.

I think the show is pretty funny- def has potential, especially compared to the vast majority of stuff Comedy Central has put out over the last couple of years. I think its a good companion piece to Workaholics too.

theyre both attractive in a really weird way, and I think their personality really turns them from average "gross" chicks to fuckable sexy "gross chicks.

its pretty clear that abbie is the dennis/mac of the show and ilana is the charlie day.

i personally like abbie more because she is hotter and like blockhead said her character is more funny to in my opinion and also I need to see her butthole and tits.

Makes more sense this way but imo there is no easy mapping between these shows. Eg ill nanas will is dominant over ab's, not so with charlie. They are both the weird one but in terms of character interaction they got a dif dynamic going.

This is in contrast to eg workaholics which is a straightforward sunny bite-off.

I can agree with you on that. after watching more than two episodes its definitely more workaholics than sunny

last couple eps been kinda boring, especially the last one
