November 6th live at Fed Ex Field: Redskins vs. Eagles

:killacam:

WE have tickets to both

it will be a battle for the ages
You're absolutely trippin' if you're even considering that Gwen Stefani concert. Go see some live football.

I have a feeling I just fell for a joke.

Sounds like she should go with a friend while you do your man shit.

it looks like she's gonna go with her sister but she originally had me in the ticket slot. She is like "we are going to the Gwen show November 6th" and I'm like, 'whatever,' not knowing that this critical game lies in the balance. One of these days I will correctly operate a calendar.

Can you imagine the male Philadelphian population that will attend this (which, since the iggles-skins game is on at 8 on ESPN will directly co-incide with this)? Well since its Philly, we know the answer (and it begins with an  )

The football game is close to 150 miles away, which will make for a loooooong ride home. fuckit--any trip is worth seeing the "burdz" suffer an excruciating loss. The lack of girlfriend at the game ought to make it more beer-riffic.

Interesting that this thread just got brought back. Danzig's blackest of the black tour is next week with him headlining along with Dimmu Borgir, Moonspell, Skeletonwitch, and Winds of Plague. I tried to explain to her that this is not her crowd, she just got pissed and said that I should let her decide for herself.

At this point im debating whether or not it's worth it to have her go and risk possibly fucking the show up for myself just to see her possibly horrified and hilarious reaction. Cant decide though, i don't think that's enough to justify fucking up seeing Danzig live...

words cant even begin to describe how much i love sheer terror. and yeah...im a fuckin mess upstairs. anyway...

a few months ago i was at a bar in olde city and i was wearing a sheer terror shirt walking down the stairs. this chick was walking up the stairs and pointed at my shirt and then pointed at her chest where she had sheer terror lyrics tattooed. i fell in love with her.

every single person i know told me to stay away from her. for once im listening...sort of.

haha good thread.

my girlfriend has good taste in music, but it doesn't mirror mine.

She knows not to go to the Morbid Angel/Marduk show with me, just as I decided to skip out on animal collective when she went.

She likes stuff like Pixies, Fugazi, Lemonheads, Bob Dylan, so we attend lots of indie/alt shows together we both find interesting, like we went to see left lane cruiser, lambchop, Qui, stuff like that together and both had a good time.

It's all about finding your middle-ground and allowing the other person to do their thing as well.

not to shit in any easter baskets, but me and my girl (for the most part) have pretty similar taste in music, tv, and movies. We haven't gone to that many shows together but we've gone to Brother Ali (when Intuition was opening, but I fucked up and got us there late), Pharoahe Monch, Robin Thicke, De La...maybe a couple more. She's the one who talked me into seeing The Dark Knight at midnight on the Thursday of opening weekend. I can't really complain.

My girlfriend made me go see Rihanna and Akon with her. I could stand watching Rihanna because she has great legs but when Akon came on he started stripping and dry humping the stage. All the 12 year old girls went nuts.

I went home and watched some straight porn.

This is my solution...

If your girl is being a bitch and ruining your good time at a show; push her into the mosh pit and break up with her while she is simultaneously being groped and shoulder-smashed right in the mouth. Then leave.

 Nah man, I'm trying to fuck later that night.
Actually, my girl rolled with me to an Atmophere show. Back when you could smoke in clubs, she got a headache from the shit and we we went to the crib mid-way through the headliner. As much as I wanted to stay, I wanted to get laid that night.
