A Boy and His Dog : Widescreen Special Collector's Edition - Blu-ray (Amazon Exclusive) (1975)

I know it's a public domain movie, can't find a review of the blu ray though. I'm assuming it'll still look like shit (which is fine w/ their budget, still love this movie)

This is official and its being put out by Shout Factory in August, so you can count on it being fucking awesome and filled to the brim with goodies

Awesome news

Also my favorite Monroe movie is finally coming to bluray

Awful cover though, wish they'd use the original poster art, especially considering how iconic/valuable/rare the originals are (i've never seen one under 5K)

Van Damme is doing another villain role, with an amazing Phil Specter-esque haircut. Despite two leads who are exteremely unlikely candidates for action roles, this looks kinda cool.

Ivan: So it is you, son, is it not?
Jason Stillwell: But this time it will be different. Russian.

yea, lotta awesome actually. after the first one they turn into some of the best cheezy 80s kung fu movies, maybe the best of the ones starring white people

watch this whole thing, but ESPECIALLY 2.20-2.35

they are actually, I just found most of the series while looking for that one clip. They're 4:3 unfortunately, not widescreen, but the print quality itself looks damn good and the available dvds are all full screen pan/scan anyway, so might as well just watch these on youtube

The 2nd one has Cynthia Rothrock and Billy Blanks is the bad guy in King Of Kickboxers aka NRNS 4 so u awready know

dying to see how American Shaolin holds up, I used to love this movie when I was little. The full name series title/position for it would be No Retreat No Surrender 6: King Of Kickboxers 2: American Shaolin
