mad men

Post by ALASKA »

i know there has been threads about this a while back but there seems to be very little discussion about season two. shit has been steller and they stepped the hot 60s broads game up substantially this season.

don draper has potential to be the goat character ever. dudes whole style is pimp

anyone else watching this?

Really tried to get into it. Watched most (maybe all) of the first season and it just didn't hook me. At first I thought it was that there wasn't really a plot, but I think it's just that there didn't seem to be any consequences to anything on the show. It seemed like it was a bunch of scenes strung together using the gimmick of the 50s (which is already pretty boring, imo). I've heard the second season is great though, and definitely know a bunch of people who are really into it.

show is ill. don draper is definitely the man. slow paced but very well written, acted, and shot.

Last night's episode was really good. Don sayin to Pete "If you want a vacation, I can make that happen" had me dyin.

I love this show, but some episodes are hit and miss. I thought last night's episode was okay, but there have been some stellar episodes this season, especially the ones involving the Barretts.

I guess I'll try again to get into it. Could barely make it through the first episode.

I'm a fan of the show but I missed several of the last episodes from last season and I want to know what's the Don Draper/Dick Whitman connection that has been brought up this season? I know Don is an impostor to some degree but I don't know the details.

Love this show. I caught on late too and just finished Season 2. Don Draper is a G for real and his wife is a dime no questions.
Lots of the other characters are great too. Sterling is hilarious and the secretary of Don's that he picked up is smokin hot.
Pete is such a whiny little prick.
Jane got titties for days.

Besides Netflix which is how i've been watching them, are they available On Demand? I don't even know the network this airs on.

Is season 2 or 3 worth owning? I finished season 1 and i would buy them if they have some repeat viewing. otherwise i'll just netflix the rest.

Damn I slept on this show hard. Just watched the whole first season in a marathon. I did the Don Draper voice while asking a girl for a light on campus today. It worked quite...well.
