I still think this is all just complete bullshit on Phoenix's part. He's trying to play this role with Affleck following him around with the camera to capture it all. This will all turn up on something that they'll release after he tours the U.S. I do feel sort of bad for the people whose movie he was supposed to be promoting.

Or yeah, he's gone completely loony.

i mean, as we've seen before, people do snap-- so, indeed i wouldn't wholesale rule that shit out. but, c'mon, why promote the movie, go on letterman, various other outlets pubbing, the whole hullabaloo, y'know? i don't doubt he's a peculiar dude from jump, they were raised on some hippie commune, i believe... saw him on the street once near 12th and university, looked odd, but probably more so 'cause he didn't wanna be recognized.

Letterman fucks with people like no other. This and the Paris Hilton interview were my favorite. He is ruthless sometimes.
