aka the thread where we celebrate arguably the greatest pure popcorn action flick of the decade.

It is a polarizing film. I tried to give the movie props in my status update and am already getting heated by some of the responses. I know some of these people and am willing to kill them.

I will not let them deter me from thinking this is an exceptional breakthrough in moviemaking and is probably the apex of Michael Bay's movie career.

BB 2 kicks ass too but I never understood how people put it over The Rock

It's good, but I prefer the first one. I also agree with Moolah and the others that the Rock is his best movie.

I used to be a BB1 over BB2 guy, but they've pulled into equal territory for me recently. Big fan of both movies. I think 1 is a slightly better movie but 2 has the better action and humor.

Criterion should hook back up with Bay and release a Bad Boys 1&2 set on blu ray. I would literally

It really is one of the great action movies. The fact that it is so well done and that it was a sequel to a movie we already all loved makes it even more special.

i watch it once every six months or so and if anything it just puts into perspective how shitty action staging and filming has gotten with time (with a few exceptions of course).

Agree with RS on both accounts. Also drizzles sentiments on Hardboiled.

To me BB2 comes after Taken and Dark Knight as best actionmovies in the 00's.

I watch it all the time, because I think it is the greatest action movie of all time.

Terminator movies are so overrated. I can't sit through any of them.
