i just thought it was kind of meh. I didn't like seinfeld either though.
woops, sorry about that...I can do math but reading, not so much...

don't watch lost or heros, those shows are fucking gay, AND JUST SAY NO TO 24.....

on the same lines of metalocalypse - check out robot chicken...if you like anime check out ghost in the shell stand alone complex , if you don't then don't.....

have you seen Nip/Tuck? first few seasons are good...

Six Feet Under isn't too bad if you like dark sarcastic humor (same guy who did American Beauty, so if you like that movie then proceed)

Big Love is actually a good show too. the last season has been the best so far.

I've seen big loves first two seasons. Watched and like six feet under. I watched the first two seasons of nip/tuck. Does it continue to just get gayer and gayer?

Twin Peaks. Especially if you like fucked up shit. Possibly the greatest show ever.

Also, the first two seasons of 24 are fantastic. The show got a little too ridiculous after that (I still love the fuck out of it), but the first two seasons are absolutely unfuckwithable.

I caught the first season and a half or so of friday night lights. I liked it a lot. Anybody care to hook up some links for any of these? I'm the laziest man alive.

Freaks & Geeks
Twin Peaks

are two of the best shows of all time. i'd start with those two personally

- freaks & geeks is basically all those teen movies & serial tv dramas if they were actually realistic & funny (think dazed & confused the series)
- twin peaks is david lynch's trademark bizarre/creepy/moody mystery style shaped into a likable/funny/addictive tv drama (without sacrificing any integrity). granted, some people just can't appreciate lynch.. but on the mystery side of things i think twin peaks is probably the easiest to get in to

Some recent Brit comedies to check out:

The Inbetweeners
OTT adult humor similar to Peep Show but with late teens and their cringe inducing attempts to score. Laugh out loud funny.

Pyschoville
Dark and very twisted comedy from some of the chaps from the classic The League of Gentlemen series.

Odium acts like he hasn't seen shit because of prison/drugs/parties but has seen a few seasons of everything listed.

I feel like I'm always watching TV and I've seen less than half of this shit.

I buy or rent series and just sit and watch the entire things in one sitting usually. That's why it seems like I've seen a shitload of shows. I'm out of work so I have a huge amount of free time and I finally got a fast modem so I've been downloading a lot of stuff over the last few months.

nip/tuck - season 3-5 were alright, 5 being worst, 3 and 4 being pretty damn good.. season 6, is was hideous and have no idea what happened with the show, and i never finished it up.

Mentioned this on the 1st page but yeah, just finished all 12 episodes yesterday and definitely cosigning this. The entire fish scene had me dying.
