I contributed to their indiegogo campaign to start a US branch. I get their first 10 releases automatically.
I'm excited about all those releases except for Contamination. I really hope they continue to release the older japanese cult stuff, those yakuza films sound amazing.

Good to see Arrow setting up shop in the US.
Grindhouse Releasing have these two titles out in the next few weeks. Pre-orderd Massacre Mafia Style a while back.
Also copped the following recently:
The Babadook
Vacation for a Massacre aka Madness
Bad Girls Go To Hell / Another Day, Another Man
Indecent Desires / My Brother's Wife
Midnight Ripper
The Devil's Wedding Night
The Killer Wore Gloves
The Fourth Victim
The Flower With Petals of Steel
Eye in the Labyrinth

I feel like those 2 Mitchell movies have been slated for release for ages now. Always wanted to see Massacre Mafia style. I've seen a screening of Gone With The Pope, it was kinda weird, slower and surprisingly more meditative than I expected.

Yeah, they were meant to be released years ago, but Massacre Mafia Style will finally be out next week, bruv.

don't rmemeber if we ever mentioned this one before
Looks like a pastiche of old highbrow French noirs with later trashy eurocrime, rinsed through Scorsese's style. I love all these things so I'm with it.

So this might be a good thread on its own, but I've been watching a lot of random stuff through youtube. Either rips of obscure stuff i"ve been trying to find for ages, or just legit streaming via wernervod channel and such.
I know some of you guys have been doing this for a while, anybody got any good channels or playlists marked?

Rarely do I end up watching anything from them, but I'm still subscribed to this lot:

YO I'd kill for a widescreen of Revenge, that's the best Kosugi jawnt and maybe the best american-originated ninja movie all around

Twitch is pimping a new creature feature about mutant killer wasps, looks pretty competent and sticks to the good old 'goofy amiable slacker has to beat the creatures and win the girl' formula, could be good

That is a seriously awesome line-up.
Just realized that I am going to be in NYC the 26th to 29th. I could possibly make the Footprints on the Moon showing!
How hard is it to get there from Brooklyn?

Haven't booked my hotel yet but I'm doing some training at the Brooklyn Navy Yard during the days. So I'll probably try to find a place as close to there as possible.

Shouldn't be that bad, that area doesn't have that many trains but you'll be right on the water across from Manhattan at least. Let me know where you book i'll tell you what's what.

Word. I see they don't do any presales. What are my chances of being able to walk up and buy tickets less than an hour before it starts?

Very good, I routinely do it 5 mins past advertised show time as i'm joggin in from the train. FYI they only take cash.
It's a very nerdy niche oriented theater but the main room is surprisingly large, so since they don't really draw big crowds aside from big event screenings, they very rarely sell out completely. I'd be surprised if the theater is more than 2/3 full for a lot of these

Really happy to see BU putting out a new title for once instead of just an HD upgrade from their catalog.
Anyone seen this before?
