Trailer Park Boys

Post by grandgroove »

Anyone a fan of this show? It's a Canadian mockumentary about a trailer park in Halifax, NS. It ran seven seasons and spawned two movies.

The episodes are all over Youtube.

just a heads up, pretty much every show has been discussed here. you can usually bust a search to find out for sure.

that said, a trailer park boys thread is always welcome.

Thanks fellas for the heads-up on the other threads. I'm still cutting my teeth with some of the parameters of the Search function. I couldn't find a generic thread for TPB. The other ones are great!

Basically, it's supply and command, I guess. Now that I have the Search down, it's peach and cake. When you don't, and you think you might be duplicating a thread, it's a Catch 23 situation.

I hope I didn't fuckulate anything!

Yeah I watch episodes all of the time. You can pick up new shit every time you watch them.

Me and all my boys use Ricky's sayings all of the time. I think our favorite is "it's not rocket appliances"

Guaranteed every time, good shout Random

TPB was one of those shows that had a base humour and thankfully the writers stuck to it, for seasons n seasons...

Amongst MANY other amazin sub-plots, it accurately and flawlessly pointed the finger of wigger-ness at the J-Roc character [Jonathan Torrens] who pulled it off with aplomb [nh]

The amazing thing is that none of these shows had scripts. All of the lines they came up on the fly. Pretty amazing.

Other favorites of mine:

Get two birds stoned at once
I fucking a todo so
gorilla see, gorilla do.
Looks like a tropical earthquake blew through here.

Any other Canadians have a tough time initially accepting Jonovision as the wigger J-Roc?
Of course he eventually won me over in the show but originally it seemed like a huge miscast.
