We need a place to consolidate all of these instead of having a million different threads, imo.

Right now deepdiscount is selling the entire series of The Shield for $64.00. With free shipping.

9 discs
2 movies per disc
Apart from some featurettes, you get the Russ Meyer episode of the classic The Incredibly Strange Film Show from way back when. Jonathan Ross didn't morph into a gigantic douche back then.

Most of the stuff you borkers are posting is region 2 unfortunately.

That Bava set is about as good as box sets come. Every movie on there is top notch. The packaging isn't anything to write home about but hard to argue for that price.

Are multi-region DVDs expensive? I want one but at the same time if you're gonna upgrade you might as well go BluRay, I guess.

They're not that expensive actually. And a lot of normal players can be hacked to play multi-region dvd's anyways. Also most blurays are region free.

This isn't a dvd but its a hell of a deal. Amazon is selling these for $44.00

Dope book, thought it was out of print. Not even a month ago they were going for $150 used. They actually come with a filmstrip from Kubrick's personal print of 2001.

The Amazon reviews say that this edition does not come with the filmstrip or audio cd like the first edition did. Regardless, I still picked it up.
