I dunno. It's not as bad as people have said and Cruise is actually decent in it, but it's a misfire.

Cruise, for once in a very long time, was a bad ass in this film. And Diaz looked very fuckable in this flick. Didn't have any desire to see it at first though.

Lame movies with soon-to-be-irrelevant-actors always pull the vast majority of their gross from the foreign market.

It ultimately did okay, but won't help either of their careers (beyond bringing in some lucrative commercials for prune candy and such in Japan).

Well there are more foreigners than Americans, and foreigners don't watch foreign movies ; ) Inception, for instance, is at 65% foreign, I have a feeling that this is normal for movies that are well promoted, but I don't really know what I'm talking about. I just posted the figures to show that a fair amount of people went to see it.

hey. stop faggni around and download it and watch it. crack a brew or smoke a joint or blow a line. this movie is fast as fuck, rarely lets up, cuts to a fuckin jet dropping missiles on them the ONE time anything romantic is ABOUT to happen, cruise is monochrome in his acting but it works, as the movie says he's been trained to disconnect with anyone he loves or feelings of love to be a highly efficient agent, so i bought it or didn't care

there are two or three moments that are comically over-the-top BUT THEY WORK in that clive owen shoot em up flick kinda way. if anyone watches this and thinks the director or cruise/diaz thought this was a seriously important action flick, he/she is fucking bugging. there are numerous occasions where the director/movie makes fun of himself/itself, includign baiting the audience in a couple scenes into thinking "wow how fucking dumb and inaccurate is this" only to have the logic thrown in the face of the critic with a subsequent explanation that makes everything make enough sense to at least view the movies like it's an 'expendables' and not like it's a 'heat'

in other words, i thought it was going to suck major dick but it was actually one of my 2010 favorites, and i savored it, so save your lip

I was dragged to this movie, and it was weak as fuck.
Completely unoriginal and boring. Cameron Diaz is not a leading lady to me. She was attractive in like one movie, and that was 15 years ago.
