My FOX affiliate is replaying it Saturday night. Maybe yours will be, too.Trademark wrote:Dan wrote:I watched this last night and thought it started really strong. Cool little premise.
I'll be sticking with it.
FUCK!!!!!!!!! I missed it...
Definitely check for it. I was surprised at how violent it was.

for sure. ep 2 especially. was more early fringe like than early lost like, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. hugo and his hugoisms were getting on my nerves (no more dudes or likes, please) and legit lol'ed at the opening credits, but overall enjoyed it and am in for the foreseeable futureDan wrote:I was surprised at how violent it was.

I don't think J.J. is on set for these shows he creates. I think he just comes up with an outline for a series, then a team of writers are hired on to expand on his idea. J.J. is never credited as a writer or director, he just stays on as executive producer and then moves on to create something new.SonnyCookout wrote:I bet Fringe gets cancelled this season and Alcatraz takes over as JJ's main show.

I still like it. I think you might've only missed 1 season or maybe even just half a season. It's become really hit or miss the last few years. There were episodes that were so I bad I almost gave up on the show altogether a few times, but I'm glad I didn't. The 3-4 episodes per season where they're on the mark are easily the best sci-fi on TV.blastmaster wrote:Havent seen the last couple seasons of Fringe. Is it worth catching up on? I watched the first episode on an airplane while going to Hawaii, FIVE FUCKING TIMES ON LOOP. First time I saw it, it was cool. Will eventually have to watch the first season.
For sure got that prison break vibe that the ru was talking about.
