I agree, he has the mic skills and is good enough in the ring to pull it off

Let's not discredit his original heel run tho. It was pretty epic...

Santino was big. His time as Santina aside, he was a pretty consistent source of entertainment.

From the days with Maria to Glammerella to learning the Cobra from Jon Lovitz to teaming with Kozlov etc., he's given us a lot of great memories.

Him almost winning Royal Rumble 2011 and his serious-ish run at the top of 2012 were both incredible. Really a shame about his injuries, glad he's exiting before he could have seriously hurt himself.

But between Bryan and Santino, I seriously think it's time we ban headbutts.

Don't let the comical gimmick fool you. Dude has a MMA background and has been in plenty of shoot fights in his career.

Hopefully WWE let's him stay w/ some kind of contract to at least comment on Network shows. Santino has always been hilarious.

I think Blastmaster is saying the doors are now open for the gawd Enzo Amore who just returned to NXT.

Real talk, I think Enzo has more charisma on the mic than pretty much anyone else in the company. Dude is a natural.

I agree, but I think his size and in ring ability will always hold him back. Enzo as a full time manager would be ideal in my opinion.

santino doesnt need to wrestle to stick around, i doubt we've seen the last of him.

i really like enzo and colin cassidy, i think they do really well on the mic together.

So, this clip of Mark Briscoe doing the local newscast's weather and saying the word lightninging is pretty much my new favorite thing ever.

Oh man, if only Mark would have gotten Jay's push the world would be such a better place.

WWE is going to announce the Kenta signing in-ring at an event in Tokyo today. Hogan is there, and I guess the storyline is that Hogan got him signed? They haven't made this big a deal about a signing in the past, which has me thinking Kenta is going straight to the main roster and not NXT. Pretty excited about it, although the Daniel Bryan injury, which is depressing as fuck on its own, gets even sadder knowing that we may never get this in a WWE ring:

Cheap Heat podcast touched on it, but do you think Santino leaving opens the door for Cabana in the WWE. I thought Punk leaving dashed any hopes, cause I assumed his introduction to the WWE would be attached to punk, but I'd kill to see the Matt Classic character in the WWE.

They announced that he would be going to NXT at the press conference. I think it's for the best, he'll be over the second he walks in there, and can have match of the year contenders with Zayn for a while.

This character is so perfect for Silas.

For those who don't follow ROH, Silas Young's gimmick is that he's the "Last Real Man" in professional wrestling.

He's started doing "Public Silas Announcement."
