Shield mini-reunion was glorious.

Also New Day was killing, really enjoyed that match:

Crowd: "This is awesome!"
Xavier Woods: "Yeah, we know. We are well aware."

Solid PPV, predictable, but still entertaining.

Here are a couple pics of the merch stand from NXT in Philly as requested. I'll upload some more after I sift through em.

That Bailey shirt get me every time lol.

Payback was odd. Tag match and Zigler were dope. The rest felt like Smackdown.

Yeah, after coming home from a night of Gin tasting, I couldn't believe it when I heard Owens' music and saw him come out. The whole segment was flawless. Legit the most exciting thing to happen on Raw for me since the Pipe Bomb promo that started this very thread.

I honestly got goosebumps when his music hit, and I was watching the show on DVR.

Why? They already brought out Sami Zayn. To me, it was just another NXT dude coming out to answer Cena.

It's not just another NXT dude. It was Steen. And it was a complete surprise, which we haven't had in quite a while.

I'm trying to think the last big moment like that. Mark Henry's retirement speech resulting in him sneak-attacking Cena? The debut of The Shield?

Pipe Bomb was the last time I felt that type of way from wrestling.

I would put the nexus beat down of Cena and Bryan choking the ring announcer in that same category too

Between this and your behavior in the chinx drugz thread, you've been extremely bitchy lately. You ok, bro?

I don't know if I'd stack it up against, say, the Wyatt Family debut or the Nexus invasion or the pipebomb, as I can separate myself from all of those moments. I think because I'm someone that's followed Steen for a long time (I was in the audience at High Stakes 2 when him, Generico, Sexxxy Eddy, and eXcEsS 69 unleashed hell on each other), I can't really evaluate this objectively. I can understand how this would be just another debut to someone with no attachment to Steen.

That said, I think WWE did a good job of making Owens look like a big deal- he didn't let Cena talk down to him, he established himself as a brash "prizefighter", he got the upper hand on John Cena, and HE STEPPED ON THE FUCKING US TITLE. The title that John Cena has built up and talked up every week since winning it, and who-does-he-think-he-is comes in and (symbolically) shits all over that title and everything John Cena says it stands for in an instant.

And speaking of titles, I liked how Owens made the NXT title look strong when he rationalized turning down cenas US title raw match offer, because he already has a championship belt.
