I'm still in shock. Great match, I didn't think there was any way he was winning clean, and then boom. Cena will likely get his win back at SummerSlam (aka a show that matters), but we'll always have this to look back on.

We should probably change the name of this thread at some point, considering everything that's happened since it started.

Stupid stupid stupid Dusty finish. Coulda saved it til tonight and give Ambrose a day as champ to test the social media waters. Or even better have Rollins enact his rematch clause and win via fuckery on Raw.

But Owens, yo. God bless John Cena. Dude gets it.

I didn't mind the Dusty finish either, I think because they did it fairly well, and it's been a while. As for Dean, this feud has brought him back from much of the silliness he was doing for the past 6 months, plus I'd rather see him chase the title anyway. And I so want the belt on Seth when Lesnar returns.

I think we talked about it when the thread hit 100, but I think the Punk title is still appropriate. Ushered in the reality era, brought a lot of us back to wrestling, and essentially made what happened last night possible imo.

i think the dusty works in this case too because dean gets to be a maniac walking around with the belt til somebody takes it from him. might be an interesting time for a reigns heel turn

Any podcast thay starts with Austin asking Heyman why the Jews need to have a monopoly on everything is pure gold.

Austin going straight kayfabe at the end should be played on a loop at the performance center cause that is how you cut a fucking promo. They spend an hour dismantling the fourth wall then in 5 minutes have you hook, line and sinker. Beautiful.

Ordered Highspots' "10 for 10" deal (10 loose, random dvds for $10, I actually ordered 2 sets) on Friday. Should arrive today. Cysed to see what I get and how many, if any, duplicates. Got one of Meltzer's Tributes books for free too.

Anyone else do the 10 for 10?

Anyone order a custom championship belt from Highspots? Could be fun for a prize at events or just to have laying around the house/office.

Yeah, I was gonna order a spindle, a Carlito hat, a WWE poncho, the book adaptation of The Condemned, and some trading cards for family reunion bingo prizes. Unfortunately, shipping was $15 on a $20 order. I couldn't justify it.

And I think if I was a first time ROH viewer, I'd be a little put off by having two out of four matches on the show not go on as advertised. I'd probably be okay with it if the resulting matches were worth watching, but...

1) That's because it costs A LOT to ship a hat and a book. Those are pretty big items and Highspots takes measures to ensure they dont get messed up. If you ordered like 6 DVDs, your shippin wouldn't be over five or so bucks. But given the huge size different between your items, they probably were going to use their biggest most cumbersome box to ship it.

I hope you stick with ROH though. That was a pretty random show to be their first to go national, but sometimes it bes like that. The next episode has Jushin Liger vs. Dalton Castle, Kyle O'Reilly vs Daniels and Kazarian, and The Bullet Club vs The Kingdom.

My thing about the shipping is less that I don't think it's justified, and more that it moved the order into "not worth it" territory. It looks like with the DVDs, you get away cheap because they can be sent media mail.

As far as ROH goes, I'll probably watch it off and on like I do with NXT and PPVs. I usually watch ROH episodes with matches that interest me, and Liger/Castle is highly intriguing.

R-Truth stole the show. Give him a main event push. Top 5 Raw moment of the year for sure.

Yeah, that was hilarious. I'm totally down for R-truth entering himself into feuds or matches, then politely leaving. Raw was a tough watch otherwise, only other part that stood out was Owens of course. Loved the match with Neville, especially in comparison to vets like Sheamus and Orton going out there and putting everyone to sleep. Plus the ease and pace at which he delivers his promos stands out, kinda reminds me of this guy:

Update on my 10 for 10 (20 for 20) from High Spots:

Notable discs include a best of CM Punk Vol 25 (or something). The disc I got is mostly IWA stuff. Pretty good.

A Magnum TA/Nikita Koloff shoot. Pretty cool til they get very preachy at the end.

An MLW (remember them?) special that's basically ECW Styles on commentary, Jerry Lynn wrestling, Mike Awesome as champ and Corino Vs. Funk in a barbed wire match. Probably the best disc I got.

And what appears to be that weird women's apartment wrestling that used to advertise in the back of magazines. Pretty sure it's porn. Here's a still. http://imgur.com/PlwCit6" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Yeah, High Spots sent me porn.

Anyone else hear Chyna with X-Pac calling in on Opie? Shit was brutal. I believe Pac, China sounds delusional and full of shit, not to mention laughed off the idea of taking a polygraph like Pac suggested.
