I listened to the audio commentary of Possession a while back trying to make sense of that mind fuck of a film and Zulawski revealed Isabelle Adjanni tried to commit suicide after watching it, no idea if he was joking or not.

Yeah, I met Zulawski @ CPH-PIX and he talked briefly about that, she regretted being in the movie - I think it must have fucked with her mind as well, she looks completely insane in that film. Good thing she reconsidered.
