Such a great show. Better than Thick of It in my opinion. They recycled the networking at a funeral thing from I'm Alan Partridge.

Great episode. Would watch an entire show about Jonah living at home with his mom. The giant painting of Jonah as a kid in the background was slaying me.

All the stuff with Selena in the bathroom was really great too.

Another great season. I felt like the last two episodes suffered slightly from trying to pack a lot of narrative and plot development into the season to set up the next year, but it was still really funny. The bathroom scene and the scene where the phone was still recording were hilarious

So, do you guys think next season has her lose chance of being reelected President, but settling for being the favorite's running mate? I could see the whole Veep thing coming back around. Great season, one of the funniest shows on tv.

i think that's the only real way that would keep the showing going for a couple more seasons without having to radically change the format. I also don't think that the creator will do more than one or two more seasons, so she may actually become president and then that would cap off the show's run.

i want to see a president who assassinates people over slights and has lunch atop the giza pyramid with a living breathing sphinx
and holds huge orgies in a bunker built into the side of a mountain
and has a clone for a male suitor
gonna need cleanhobo to help me write this script

Terrible terrible poster but so glad this show is back in just a few weeks.
Thinking about marathoning the first 3 seasons again.

Solid first episode. Jonah getting molested by Patton Oswalt
Good to see Selina rising to the occasion and actually looking semi-competent for once.

Already renewed for a 5th season, but showrunner, Armando Ianucci won't be returning. I know he's the man behind the original UK version and this one, but I'm sure the writing will continue to be solid without him.

The guy taking over, David Mandel, has a really excellent track record.
He's written & directed episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, The Clerks cartoon & SNL. I'm not too worried.

first episode was good on first viewing and even better on second viewing. How does this show keep snagging random bit players that are all hilarious?

The scene with Amy and the Campaign Manager in the hotel room where the aide keeps fucking up had me dying.

This show has the best throwaway one liners of probably anything I've ever seen. Mike's "This thing is catching fire like a gas station in a Michael Bay movie" last week killed me.

I just hope whatever he does in his off time succeeds better than Jonahs forays into bloggerhood

There's no way he's done as a character. He'll be back somehow. He's too funny not to be back.

yeah the molestation storyline has been the best part of this season by far.

Also really liked Amy's "I feel like I'm on life support and they keep unplugging me to charge their phones" line. Not particularly funny but just great writing.

Yeah, I just don't find him funny to be honest. Scottish man who uses a lot of obscure foul language. Been done before. And yet I find it hilarious from Julia Louis-Dreyfus or in fact any of the characters on Veep. So I dunno.
