Bob's Burgers is an American animated television sitcom created by Loren Bouchard for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The show, according to Fox's publicity website, is about "a man, his family and their floundering burger joint. Despite the greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally shoddy service, Bob and his lovable and quirky family are convinced their burgers are their ticket to success".

a little surprised there hasn't been any discussion of this show yet.
shit is really good imo. the two daughters especially are hilarious & the cast has been amazing (jon benjamin, eugene mirman, paul f tompkins, andy kindler, todd barry, etc.)

before the pilot aired i figured it would be another shitty ass fox cartoon. it's surprisingly good but i need to catch up on the later episodes

From the eps I've seen the only character consistantly killing it is the youngest daughter... I hope the rest (including H. Jon who was strong for first few eps but hasnt been as good since) really step it up soon, because I think the show has potential if it doesnt get cancelled.

I caught 2 or 3 episodes and liked them all. The voices are great: dude from Dr. Katz & Home Movies is the main character and the youngest daughter was the obsessed fan on Flight of the Concords.

^ yeah, kristen schaal voices that youngest daughter. She's fucking hilarious and effin cute as hell in person. Show is ok. Truly an all star cast in terms of comedic and voice actors though.

i don't know her cleft cheek is kind of endearing in the same way vanessa bayers gum overload can be deemed cute. couldn't care less about this cartoon nor flight of the concords, but pretty sure many peoples opinions regarding her were wildly different when that show dropped

So I just watched all 3 episodes based off of this thread and I didn't laugh once. Really shocked at how bad this was. I'm usually a pretty easy sell when it comes to animated comedy shows.

she's cute in that no one else is in the room kind of way. lol @ her getting on Manny on Modern Family. i'd hit tho, but thats not really saying much.

saw the first to eps of this and didnt care for it.i'll have to peep it tho if it gets better..im starting to hate Jon Benjamin's voice. its only passable for me on Home Movies...im mad behind in Archer right now.

Actually, it speaks to the greater discussion that has been made in this forum before about female comedians. The general consensus is that they are not hot as a whole. As in, once in a rare while are standup comedians with boobs, vagina, and a butt that resembles a pornstar's, existent. OBVIOUSLY when I say that she's "effin cute", I am not really thinking of a Sofia Varga or Esther Baxter or a Lauren London, etc. FWIW in PopeyeJones speak I should have expected to have my post picked apart because I tend to generally give ladies who are not of this caliber the benefit of the doubt. But let's not get sidetracked here. I said she was cute. I would probably say the same about some of the SNL comediennes that have been on the show in recent years.

You all need to stop getting so fuckin' dramatic and maybe I won't have to justify shit like this.

It's not really "picking your post apart" by pointing out that she's busted. I remember when I first saw her on TV ,I actually commented something like "damn, that's an unfortunate looking woman". She's not just "average with a cute personality" to me. She's totally and undeniably terrible looking. By any standards. Compared to girls you see on the street every day, compared to famous people, compared to your average homeless woman. She's not attractive. Amy Poehler is a dime compared to her. But hey, that's just me.

I think Bob's Burgers is mediocre at best but this Kristen Schaal talk reminds me of an AV Club interview:

When I first started out, one of the first jobs I did was to be in a Denis Leary promo on Comedy Central, where he was having a roast for him, and so I was supposed to play the foil. Basically, they panned the camera up on this model's body, and you see him getting excited, and then it's my face looking allג¦ [Laughs.] But I had to show up at 6 a.m., and it was my first gig. I was so nervous that I decided that I had to drink a lot of coffee and soda and stuff to be ready for my big time to look ugly.

Well at least she's self-aware unlike, say, a retarded ugly woman.

Not feeling that character at all. The youngest daughter is the anchor of the entire show right now and the elder daughter thankfully has been stepping it up. The son is dead weight right now in my opinion.

She's about on par with most homeless woman except she's younger and showers more. But , outside of that, she's indeed THAT busted.
