Made it through the first season. Hello awful melodrama.
Charlie is a terrible character, just way over done and completely ridiculous. He's like your drunken moronic grandfather that's somehow in charge of a multi-million dollar newsroom.
McAvoy is a great character though. He's a Democrats wet dream of what a Republican might be like.
I can't take my eyes off of MacKenzie's wonky eyes, and I really don't give a shit about the love triangle at all. Maggie looks like Ellen Page's even less attractive sister. I expect Don and Jim to have an intense make out session next season.
Munne's character is actually fairly interesting, and she adds some much needed eye candy to the show. I'm more of a fan of hers now than I used to be.
Kind of surprised Emp likes the show given how the Repubs take it on the chin in virtually every episode.
Despite all the issues with it, I still felt compelled to watch. I can't even call it a guilty pleasure because I don't even like it that much. I'll probably give it another season.
