Do you remember if Martin Starr was in the cut you saw? Saw his name is in the closing star credits before the credit roll and he's listed on IMDB, but none of the folks I was with noticed him in the actual flick.

may have been off about the dragging, did think it was very funny in full, just at some point after CR left the house the first time i was giddy to get back out again

This is not even funny...ever. James Franco is diluting his stock hanging around these losers. Robinson sucked on "The Office", Hot Tub Time Machine, and anything else I've seen him in.

seriously? I mean, everyone's got different taste and shit, and one person's funny might be another person's morbid, but you really didn't laugh at all??? WOW.

I was fucking DYYYYYYING of guffaws constantly and repeatedly. I think this might be the funniest movie theater experience of my life. Virtually everyone was busting a gut and laughing hardcore. You really weren't diggin none of it? Wow.

I'm not even a huge Seth Rogen fan (but 'Zack and Miri' got slept on) but I thought he did superb here, as did the entire cast, in their own ways. Franco wasn't the best, but he was up there. McBride was wild-homo awesome and average, but still SO necessary in this. Jonah Hill BODIED. Jay Baruchel played his wimpy kid steez perfectly, and Craig Robinson was fucking RIGHTEOUS as the token blizzack. His monogrammed towel was over his left shoulder FOR THE WHOLE MOVIE.

ESPECIALLY as a weed smoker!!! how did you not find anything in this movie funny, Emp?

Thought it was pretty funny. Danny, Jonah and Cera (Hey Chris, does this coke smell funny?) all killed. It had some patches without laughs here and there and the Backstreet Boys dance shit at the end took some of the energy out of the audience (it got almost no reaction besides the cut to Rogen and his dog dancing), but it was overall a solid, brutally dark comedy.

i have not yet seen the movie, and kinda glad i haven't...was going to go into it with some really high expectations

now i've heard (i don't think this is ruining anything:) that it's a little distracting b/c in one moment they're all freaking out they're gonna die and then the next moment they are casually hammin it up

to which i say, wtf do you expect going into the movie, of course they're gonna make it goofy

i read in this thread that almost everyone thought it was REALLY funny

so now i'll watch it with some tempered expectations...much better
