Loved seeing the fat guy blown to bits. A solid episode.

This is a good show, but they've got to do something about how much this KGB couple change their mind about themselves and each other. They love each other, they don't love each other. They're committed to the cause, they want to defect. It's just too much, and they're supposed to be the most committed to the cause given what they do.

The FBI agent plot is very good though, I've got no complaints with that part of the show.

The show definitely deserves another couple of seasons, and they've got a hard out when the Soviet Union collapses. It will be interesting to see how things go.

Pretty fucking gay that we have to wait two weeks for a new episode.

It's fine. She fell in love with him towards the end of the pilot, and then she started to resent him in episode 8 after learning that he'd been unfaithful. That's a pretty sizable gap. Sure, Rhys was upset when he became aware of her intimate relationship with the KGB recruit (episode 3 or 4), but he got over it in a hurry.

She's committed to the cause, while he yearns for a normal life. It's been pretty consistent from the jump.

I have zero complaints. This show fucking rules. I'm about ready to give it the nod over Justified.

I agree the up and downs are getting a little much but it's also what I really like aboutthe show. It's just a really fucked up love story with awesome spy shit.

You're going to have a great team in 2018.

What happens first: Roy Johnson succumbs to old age OR his fantasy baseball team finishes in the top 3?

Word. For a spy show they incorporate a whole lot of fucking going on. Odd but it works. I think the bald El Debarge looking dude going psycho is gonna be the highlight in the next few episodes. He wants Martha bad but, she's like a 6 with a nice body.

That war was shorter than my dick.

But back on topic. I'm not really a love story kind of guy unless we're talking Turner & Hooch. This show is definitely an exception.

And yes, I'm more amped for new episodes of this than I am for any other show on TV. That's why I'm currently giving it the nod over Justified. I could probably flip-flop on that in the future, of course. I think I'm a little tired of the Drew Thompson angle, even if this past episode was dope as fuck. They're my favorite shows, in any event.

Don't give up on Justified just yet. If they ended the season with the whole Drew Thompson thing, it would've suffered. They managed to save 2 episodes for the shit with Ella May, Boyd's cousin's betrayal, Colt, and some other shit. Plotwise, this wasn't the best one; especially when most of it is looking for a missing person which gets old after a while.

Hopefully, Martha can make it until the 1989 premiere of Life Goes On so she can find a kindred soul in Corky

To me this is is a huge flaw in the show so far. until this episode he was just a warm body on the set. and now, after he gets murked, they decide to spend some time developing him? what the fuck?

fantastic closing scene. i hope his rage lasts through the finale and into the next season.

He didn't become important to the show until he was about to get murked, so the timing was right to give him a little character development, if only to justify the closing scene where Jenner lost his mind.

Of course the brotha working with the KGB is gone. Thought they would've kept him around considering he was that broad's first recruit. Thought it was interesting how they mentioned the KGB sought after civil rights activists to join the cause.

Word. I slept on Peter Gabriel for a long time. Found this gem on one of his bootlegs:

Games Without Frontiers (Instrumental Demo)

http://www.divshare.com/download/24539383-87d

Currently doing marathon #3. I wish that I could find a youtube video for the pilot scene where Phillip beats the shit out of the pedophile. Everything about it is crazy (the song, his disguise, etc).

He appears in the background during the echoed scream at the 7 second mark. Fucking flawless.

According to alan sepinwall, the first 5 eps turn this show from a 'good' to a 'great' one.

Between this, Justified last night, and Hannibal on Friday my body is trembling from the readiness.
