It felt like a cop out to me. & then all of a sudden afterwards she didn't want to see Tony again ... ever. & Dr. Melfi disappeared just like that. Dr Melfi - the sexy psychiatrist who started off the show with a bang. She was one of the most important characters in the show.
I didn't like how that was handled, but that's just me.

I read somewhere that one of the head writers, in the last season or two, wanted to bring back the Russian from Pine Barnes, even wrote a whole episode that tied the story up, and Chaise was adamantly against it and totally refused to even entertain the idea.
